Democracy!

Democracy, the most successful administrative system the time has ever proved.. That’s the soul of this blog post of mine. The term ‘democracy’ comes from the Greek language meaning "rule by the people". The policy of de-centralization and limited period of power stays foremost in the concept, which ensures reduced possibility for abuse of the same in personal interests. A democratic constitution guarantees its citizen, basic personal and political rights, equality, fair and free elections, and independent courts of justice. The public interest stays premier in decision making, and that has to happen in the most judicious and beneficial manner. These are the values that have made ‘democracy’ one of the favorite and convenient systems of rule, which gained huge vogue among the social camaraderie!

India, the land of mahatma, stays one of the prime most democracies in the present day world. It sets a parliamentary system of Government where the elected reps stay acme in decision making. They seek public acceptance each time in every 5 years and may be, that’s the only time we could see them in their constituency. A leader could not act like a dictator, here. Though it’s because of nothing else than the fear for next election, we could proudly say that “we, the people governs”. Okay friends, let me put a full-stop, or rather a semi-colon with the theory portions here.. Just like we do while solving mathematics, let’s put this as “eqn no. 1”. :-)

Here starts the second half.. Let me start from facebook, the modern democratic street where the views and aspects of the public is shared. May be it’s astonishing; still it’s a fact that we could find a cross section of the society in the facebook. The social networks have proved themselves, their credentials by invigorating public movements to their zillionth power, including the wallstreet revolution. In fact, this post of mine is inspired from such a status in fb. One of my routine fb hours made me curious, going through the ‘political statuses’ by some of my friends. Apart from the standard “I hate politics”, “Not interested”, or “Party Name” status, I found youngsters having broader thoughts and vision on our nation’s tomorrow.. Let me take Daksha as a common rep as her status matches with the vast majority concept among youngsters. It says, “politics is rubbish as long as the era of corrupt and aged politicians continue..” It can’t be blamed as it’s nothing else than most familiar fact for us. The concept of democracy stays futile in Our parliamentary system. What happens in practice is far beyond the beautiful theoretical democracy we’ve discussed in “eqn no. 1”. Here the people choose who should govern them, that’s it. What happens is, the one who seems cheating less is elected. The role of people is nothing more than choosing who should cheat them. It has made the youth fed-up and hardly interested in what’s happening around, outside Google. The fb status which made me think this much is that of Hrishikesh, hopefully a nice future pal of mine. He says,

I blv in no party politics.. Politics must b ONLY for d welfare of d nation.. Ts people.. As said by Vivekananda “manava seva madhavaseva” for each nd every bill 2 b passd in parliament, der should b an election directly.. d law should b made by commn people.. especially such bills which may affect dem directly (low cost election techniqs like sms voting.. etc can b adopted)..

(I’m sure, U guys won’t go crazy with the spellings, as U are all SMS Maniacs. ) ;-)

Hrishi has a great point with him. The concept of ‘by the people’ would come true only when people get their part in legislations and the Government’s policy-making. As he said, before each important bill is passed, the public opinion has to be considered. Bills against majority opinion must not get assented in the houses. The main constraint in such an approach is the impracticability of conducting elections each time for passing a bill. We can’t expect the Govt. to ask public to come to polling booths once in a month. For that too, hrishi suggests a solution. But, SMS voting is hardly a reliable solution, where the things would go even cheaper than a Reality Show final. Also, the one with 30 SIM Cards would gat 30 votes. These were not Overnight thoughts of mine. I used to think on this in my leisure times, intervals etc. Please don’t book a bed for me at Kuthiravattom, these thoughts just came in random, that’s it, okay? :-)

At last, I’ve got a solution of my own. The funny thing was, I got it when I was getting out from ‘Hotel Krishna’, after my lunch. When I saw a State Bank ATM just beside the hotel, I felt like “Manassil mattoru Laddu potti!! 8-)” Why can’t we use ATM’s for the purpose?? The thing Govt. has to do is nothing more than providing each citizen an electronic ID card, just similar to an ATM Card. Each such card should be made available with a confidential password. This task won’t be that difficult as the process of Adhar registration is in progress. Each time, an important bill is to be passed, it has to be presented before the public. M.P’s may take their part in elucidating the merits and demerits of the same to the common man. And, for each poll, a last date has to be published before which the entire citizen could vote either in favour or against the bill in their nearby ATMs. It’s a simple task for the Govt. to create an option of voting in this core-banking era. The majority decision must be the last voice on the matter. According to me, through this way, we could ensure a cost efficient as well as ‘DEMOCRATIC’ system of decision making. Hope this idea would be a spark which could bring about a new meaning to Our democracy. Also, Cheers Hrishi for this awesome thought! Jai Hind!! :-)

First time, in a Bar..!

‘Chartered Accountancy’, these are the words that have brought a new meaning for my Life.. Not only mine, but also for many people whom I meet today in my day-to-day Life. It has treasured me some exquisite experiences, which I would keep in my heart for a long time. Don’t worry, I’m not going to take a philosophy or management class here, straight away going to the matter makes my blog shorter, just for the sake I went on with a prologue.. Here, I’m recollecting a lovely (in other words, terrible) experience of mine as an articled auditor..

Here I go, It was the 1st day of April 2011; U know how important that day is for an auditor. As all other articles, we were expecting an exquisite Stock audit from our principal Suresh sir. ‘We’ I have mentioned here refers to none other than me and Mr. Jacob John, my dear co-article. It was informed to us earlier a week before, that Our Stock audit would be at the ‘Spring Days’ of ‘S.P Grand Days’. Soon, that fine day came. We reached S.P sharp on 9 ‘O’ Clock. The accounts department was beautifully decorated for the New Year Celebrations. It was really lovely to see the cute idol of Goddess Mahalakshmi embellished with fresh Jasmine flowers and Red Roses. The aroma was so Soothing and the heap of Vibrant Sweets added to the beauty.

The accounts manager told us “Hello guys, plz wait for a while; we’ll start the audit in an hour. Btw, happy new year..:-)”. We smiled. We waited at the corridor as Jake suggested. A guy in Indian Jersey came across us; he was a staff in the Spring Days (bar). Just thinking we could get ready for the audit a bit earlier, I asked him “Chetta, Spring Days thurannitundo..?” Innocently he replied “Sorry Chetta.. Innu audit aayondu holiday aanu, naale undakum..”. Jake started laughing.. I felt like whether I should laugh or cry. :-P

After a small new year function, we moved to the Spring Days, 2 people from the accounts dept. and 3 from the outlet joined us. We entered into a glorious hall.. The whole room was charming in Incandescence.. Big round tables were neatly arranged in random. Cute Lead-Crystal glasses which shined like diamonds, were aligned One by One on them. A/C, Dolby Systems & LCD Displays seemed enthralling for a normal man to get Crazy. There was a small stage by the corner where the DJs & party would deal with. It was the first time for me to enter into a bar, Can’t blame the poor customers for sure, I thought..:-)

Back onto the ground, I took the print out of stock report which we have collected from the accounts department. Jake chose to record the observations and I chose to verify the stock. “Kingfisher Premium Gold, 8pm, Fosters, Mcdowells, Antiquity (loved that name)” one by one, Jake began to read the names and I verified the stock in the store room. The items were counted in numbers for fresh bottles and those were measured in ‘pegs’ for the opened ones. One of the staff opened a Fosters bottle and poured it into a measuring cylinder, Jake told “its 3.5 pegs”. While measuring Antiquity, as soon as the staff took the bottle, Jake was confident that “its 6.5 pegs ya..” It was exactly 6.5 pegs when we confirmed measuring it. I was amazed, if Jake was an expert in this deal. The staff there smiled on me when I tried covering my nose with a towel to save me from the smell..:-)

Well hats off to U dear Customers! Again I’m telling you.. “CA has left some exquisite experiences in my life, don’t know what it has left me for the Life ahead. Whatever it be, I’m happy..” Well for now, 'Cheers' guyz!

SICASA!!

Hey dear readers.. It’s a long time since I’ve blogged. I’m immensely pleasured to tell U that I have got a new role of SICASA Secretary of the Trivandrum Branch. It makes me happy and proud to deal in such a good role, as the representative of CA Students and to work as a Social being. These days, my weekends and holidays are dedicated to SICASA which makes me stay away from ma blog. But, rather taking it as a responsibility, it’s an opportunity for me to nourish what I have in myself. U know, the two things that I fear the most in my life is a Snake and a mike. But each time when the Secretary is expected to speak in a crowd, that fear disappeared bit by bit. Also, it imparts a spirit of team work, initiative and leadership among one and all of the committee. And, I have promised my heart to do my best to SICASA, in full-fledge..

The next thing I got there are some Sweet friends. Friendship, it’s always a nice thing to meet people similar to us. For me, a friend is one who has a similar wavelength to me. He/ She would have their own perspectives, but what makes two people ‘friends’ is basically their mutual acceptability. May be because I’m influenced by the Income Tax Act, I have defined the word ‘friend’ while using it..;-)

I believe, this too is just the grace of my lord Ganesh who has always showered it on me.. The thing I’m doing is just moving on true to my loved ones & to my own heart.. Wishing U all a Sweet Onam filled of happiness & prosperity, signing off, yours loving Abhi!

Aaranmula Kannadi, a treasure from Kerala....

Aranmula Kannadi.. That interesting stuff caught my eyes in a routine browse through the Google.. It's not the first time that I'm coming to know about it, but for Sure this is the first time I came to realize how Lovely & rich is Our Kerala with it's heritage. And I can't leave this One away from my blog..

Our traditions have left us some flagrant Stuffs which still remains amazing to the modern world. Aranmula Kannadi is One of such great Ones. Can you believe it that the metal is polished by the artisans in such a fashion that the metal starts to look like an actual glass mirror? How cool it is!

It is said that around the 18th Century, the artisans who were working on a crown for Lord Parthasarthy, accidentally discovered the reflective property of a particular Copper - Tin alloy. They failed at replicating the same effect in their subsequent works. They say, Parvathi Amma, a widow in the community happened to dream about the correct composition of the metal and disclosed the information to the artisans. Since then, this craft is a close guarded secret within the family through various generations.

Aranmula, ‘ar’ meaning six and ‘mula’ meaning bamboo, got its name when Lord Krishna depicting as a charioteer (from epic Mahabharata) was brought to the famous Parthasarthy temple on a raft made of 6 bamboos. The British Museum in London has on display a 45 cm tall Aranmula metal mirror in its collection. With this you can imagine how exquisite this mirror is to be acknowledged internationally. Friends, the thing is that the Global world pays great respect to Our rich heritage where as we believe everything western is the best. Ayurveda, great grandhas, Geetha, dharma.. Our great ancestors &  rishivaryas have already gifted us with the best. And it's meant for us to foster these precious Ones to Our heart with pride!

August 2nd..

August 2nd, that’s a day that I would cherish for my whole Life, the day I joined the Chartered Accountancy stream.. The day which made me a Commerce student, the day which brought a new world for me..

I’m gonna tell about that very special day of my life. It was a lovely morning; I started to CA Academy with my father. My mind was simply blank. I had no idea about Commerce, not even what accountancy is. On the way, I went to aryasala temple, may be we can call it a Supermarket of gods.. Lord Siva, Ganesh, Krishna, Shastha, Navagrahas, all are there.. I entered the temple, prayed to lord Siva, Ganesh (my favorite), and the One and all of them.. May be because my tension seemed funny to them, I felt like they smiled on me.

The journey continued. I reached near baba tourist home. Appa walked through a narrow road opposite to it. I accompanied. A tall slim built man in an executive Outfit of Cream & black came across us, Smiling.. He took us to his office, gave me a CA CPT prospectus and gave me an outline on CA and told me that the class would start by 10 am, it was hardly 9.. I nodded and went to the classroom. It was a small room. In fact, a portion of the CA Office was converted into a small classroom. By 9:30 other students began to come and soon the class was filled.

Arun Das, he was the first mate that I had in my CA life. Some of the students seemed more aged than me; they were here after their graduation. And, the rest seemed of my age, just after their +2. There was a tall boy sitting behind me. I felt he is somewhat close to my wavelength. He was in a group of 3, the group was so energetic and teasing each other on the very first day. So, I guessed they must be from BVB. (Bharathiya Vidya Bhawan). I talked to them, and I was exactly right. That was not a surprise for me, as I had friends from BVB before. They introduced themselves as Hemanth, Deepak and Vasudev. From the girls side, I met Nimya that day. I felt like she was kind of 'a bit Oversmart' girl that day. We had Mercantile Law & Accounts on for the first day, for me the first time ever in my life. I found it hard to deal with the new stuffs, especially the accounts. Sir used some terrible terms; (Debtors, Creditors, Underwriting, Security premium, Capital reserves, Depreciation, Amortization, P&L, Balance Sheet.. for me, Hemanth, lakshmi & deepak, these were too terrible & much enough for a heart attack). We felt like we would use some SN1 or SN2 mechanism for a counter attack..

This was my first day of CA. Just as U may think, there was nothing Special. But, the special thing is that it has transformed my life a lot. That place where I learned CPT is today my Office of articleship. That tall man of executive Outfit is ‘Our lovely Suresh Sir’ now.. That tall boy is ‘dear Deepu’ for me now.. That 'bit Oversmart girl' is One of my best friends now. Today, on this 2nd day of august, the thoughts of that day make me immensely happy and a bit emotional.

I believe, everything is just because of that Smile that I saw in that Supermarket, I told.. There are still miles for me to go, I believe each and everything happening in Our life is just decided by the almighty. The thing we can do is just to be true to Our own heart and to Our loved ones. My prayers to him is just to keep that Smile always in my life and in those of my Loved Ones..

Travancore heritage.. Proud!!

Hi friends, It's a long time since I have blogged.. These days were somewhat tedious & monotonous with the routines, that made me stay away from my blog, though I love to write. I think it's time to pen down something here right now.  These days, wherever I go, let it be a bus stop, let it be my home, be its the media, Or even at an Out-audit., the talks are about Sreepadmanabha & it's treasures.. Till recent times, the richest deity in the world was Lord Thirupathi Venkateshwara having Gold & Non Gold assets worth Rs 32,000 Crores, A Single day has placed Our Lord Sreepadmanabha on the top having assets worth at least 1,00,000 Crores..

First of all, let me remember the Lovely Travancore Royal family, which preserved these Charming inestimable treasures, especially in this 2G Spectrum world. Travancore Gold Coins, East India Company coins, Gold Ornaments, Diamonds, precious stones, Gold Vessels, Silver utensils, Golden Vishnu Vigraha & yet another precious things which shows light to Our Vibrant past.. I would like to show my proud respect and hearty appreciation to One & all of the Royal family, who have kept our Culture with pride & cherish the Royal rule which had kept much for the future.

The next question that arise is how shall we deal with the discovery of treasure of this much worth in the today's democratic world. Opinions are flowing from different corners of the Society which demands the utilization of the assets for the benefit of the Society. As usual, Some of the opinions contradict one another. The time has changed., replacing the Royal rule, it's a democratic nation now. The Conventional religious believers consider it as Lord Sreepadmanabha's assets. According to them, these treasures have to be kept Safe in the temple, as they were till date. The humanistic belief expects the Government to take of these treasures as it belongs to Indian Republic. A different view says "Rather than putting these treasures in the black hands of Govt, it'll be better to entrust this to a new temple trust with the participation of the current palace trust & at the same time in the Supervision of the Govt."

Opinions are Ones own right, One must have a strong reason which makes him believe in his views. Probably, that reason may not be acceptable for a man of different perspective. It'll be in Good Spirit to foster these treasures as the Gifts of Travancore heritage & Culture, which is the best thing we could gift Our future generations with, just as Our ancestors did.. Also, it's right to utilize these endless assets for the benefit of poor people.. Also we can't leave the miseries of poor unseen, while we keep Crores 'Locked'..

I'm not a person to tell an Opinion here.. I'm just an youngster.. I'm expecting the Society to decide itself how to deal here..  with all it's experience & maturity. Let the Sreepadmanabha decide, what to happen.. Everything apart, we, the Youngsters are really proud.. Proud of Travancore, proud of Our ancestors.. Proud of Our Heritage!!

Ambiguity...

"Dharma Samsthapanarthaya, Sambhavaami Yuge Yuge.."
Incidents would happen, which would replace the evil with the Truth, time to time.. A Very worthy extract from the Sacred Hindu books. And, that has to happen time to time, to ensure the Quality of the Life in this World. The Same is the Avathara Dharma's of the dashaavatharas of Vishnu.

"Malsya Koorma Varaahashcha, Narasimhashcha Vaamana, Ramo ramacha ramacha, Krishna Kalki Janardhana!!". Each time when the evil Strengthened in the World, incidents happend to replace it with Justice. And, that's what the thing that fortifies Our belief in God. Mahabali, the Best King the World has ever seen., that's the Core of what I mean through this post.

Maveli nadu vanidum kalam
manusharellarum onnupole
amodathode vassikkum kalam
apathangarkkumottilla thanum
adhikal vyadhikal onnumilla
bala maranangal kelkkanilla
kallavumilla chathiyumilla
ellolamilla poli vachanam
kallapparayum cheru naziyum
kallatharangal mattonumilla ”

Kerala, the 'God's Own Country' was Once the Same under the rule of Mahabali.  Happiness and prosperity spread throughout the Country. Those beautiful memories are still recollected by the people, We Celebrate it as Onam. You all know what i am Saying about, still for the sake of my blog, Let me remind you the Story of Mahabali. Raja Mahabali believed 'Daana' as his dharma. Once he began to initiate a Yaga which would gift him the Heaven, the kingdom of Devendra. We all know, what kind of King, Indra was. The One who was never interested in the Welfare of his people., he was always in the world of leisure.. however, as Soon as he came to know this, he went to Mahavishnu for Saving his rule. As a King, it's the dharma of Bali to extent his empire, for that too he chose a divine way of a Yaga, rather than a War. If the Swarga had came under the rule of Mahabali, we could be Sure how Lovely it would have been. But, the thing that leaves a question in my mind is that Vishnu stood with the side of Indra, and exploited the Daanadharmik character of Bali to kick him down.. And, still when Vishnu asked what he wanted as his last wish, the Lovely Bali replied that he wanted to meet and be a part of his people's happiness Once in a year. What else could we expect from a Great King, to be better..?

All the Nine Avathars of Mahavishnu left us a great Message that Truth will prevail, but what is the exact message he gives us through his Vaamana avathara.? this is not a Criticism of the great epic, but just a innocent question from a little Child. I'll be greatfull for those people who can give me the exact message.

Justice, at it's Best..!

Hi friends, this post is meant just to Share U guys a pretty interesting Murder Case where we find the Justice as just amazing.. I got it as a mail from my friend Sankar. I found it better to blog this rather than just forwarding this to U. In the 1994 annual awards dinner given for Forensic Science, AAFS President Dr Don Harper Mills astounded his audience with the legal complications of a bizarre death. Here is the story.

On March 23, 1994 the medical examiner viewed the body of Ronald Opus and concluded that he died from a shotgun wound to the head. Mr Opus had jumped from the top of a ten-story building intending to commit suicide. He left a note to the effect indicating his despondency. As he fell past the ninth floor his life was interrupted by a shotgun blast passing through a window, which killed him instantly. Neither the shooter nor the deceased was aware that a safety net had been installed just below the eighth floor level to protect some building workers and that Ronald Opus would not have been able to complete his suicide the way he had planned.

"Ordinarily," Dr Mills continued, "A person who sets out to commit suicide and ultimately succeeds, even though the mechanism might not be what he intended, is still defined as committing suicide." That Mr Opus was shot on the way to certain death, but probably would not have been successful because of the safety net, caused the medical examiner to feel that he had a homicide on his hands.

The room on the ninth floor, where the shotgun blast emanated, was occupied by an elderly man and his wife. They were arguing vigorously and he was threatening her with a shotgun. The man was so upset that when he pulled the trigger he completely missed his wife and the pellets went through the window striking Mr Opus.
When one intends to kill subject "A" but kills subject "B" in the attempt, one is guilty of the murder of subject "B." When confronted with the murder charge the old man and his wife were both adamant and both said that they thought the shotgun was unloaded. The old man said it was a long-standing habit to threaten his wife with the unloaded shotgun. He had no intention to murder her. Therefore the killing of Mr Opus appeared to be an accident; that is,if the gun had been accidentally loaded.
The continuing investigation turned up a witness who saw the old couple's son loading the shotgun about six weeks prior to the fatal accident. It transpired that the old lady had cut off her son's financial support and the son, knowing the propensity of his father to use the shotgun threateningly, loaded the gun with the expectation that his father would shoot his mother.

Since the loader of the gun was aware of this, he was guilty of the murder even though he didn't actually pull the trigger. The case now becomes one of murder on the part of the son for the death of Ronald Opus. Now comes  the exquisite twist.
Further investigation revealed that the son was, in fact, Ronald Opus. He had become increasingly despondent over the failure of his attempt to engineer his mother's murder.
This led him to jump off the tenth story building on March 23rd, only to be killed by a shotgun blast passing through the ninth story window. The son had actually murdered himself so the medical examiner closed the case as a 'Suicide'.

Simply 'amazing'..

A though for the Life...

It was a nice Day;  usual routine day with my articleship.. Suresh Sir alloted me a work at Chaakka, near Karikakam temple.. By 10:30 I reached Chaakka bus stop as I didn't get a through bus. I chose to have a walk till the Office, knowingly it's about a 3 Km walk. The flora beside the road was at it's best in the shining Sunlight. It was Soothing to walk through the shadows of giant trees which Seem like Smiling beauties.. It was Simply awesome to See some wild water plants growing in those shallow ponds, floating as if Lotus plants.. I just realized, it was not a crazy loose of energy, my choice to have a 3 Kms walk in the Summer. Some random thoughts just passed through my mind in my half - conscious walk.

I just stared on the vehicles on the highway which were Swifting towards their destiny. Suddenly an unpleasant sound of a sudden brake by an i-10, broke my thoughts.. It's a usual thing on highways. But, something catched my mind from this incident.. "Friction".. Ya, the friction which was responsible for that sound. In the walk, my mind went to my 7th Std where I learned the basics of 'friction'. "Friction always acts in the opposite direction in which we apply the force." A simple Scientific fact. "Why this friction is always acting in the Opposite direction, against all Our efforts??", I thought with the innocence of a 7th std boy.. We know how difficult it is to apply a force through Our efforts, yet, why is God making this force of friction, always Opposite to Our efforts??

At my Science friends, please don't counter me with teh Scientific benefits of friction & terrible equations.. I'm pondering through it a bit philosophically.. Friends, just think, isn't the same happening in Our Life, in a broader sense? Nothing comes to us easy, everything we achieve is the result of Our endless efforts, for Sure.. But, Sometimes it may not work smoothly in Our Life that, we may not be rewarded with the worth which Our efforts deserve.. Things happen in Our lives, which we never wanted it to be.. At least Once, U would have thought " If this thing never happened in my Life..." Yeah friends, life is never a world of fantasy.. Things happen like this.. But, do we give up Our efforts just because friction is there..? , Is it wise to tell that "I have kept the friction zero by keeping my efforts zero"?? No, never...

The Same approach, we have to have in Our Life too. Nothing happens easy, there would be increasing resistance for Our increased efforts.. But, there will be a time Once when Our efforts would overcome the resistance.. The time when we are able to use that 'friction' according to Our wish is the time that we turn around Our way to Success.. It's the same thing which the Science has proved.

Well, I have now reached my work Office through the Chaakka highway, now it's time to work.. ;-) Be positive my dear friends, the Success is yours..

Again, a hearty happy New Year.. (2011-12)

The New Year 2011 has been gifting me Some precious moments of my Life.. And, again it's time for me to wish my lovely readers a beautiful New Year. "My hearty happy New Year wishes for the whole Commerce fraternity..". A thought nictates through my mind when I make this wish to U. On the 31st March night, I made the same as texts to my friends. I also sent them to my Science friends. A reply I got for that was like this.
"You Commerce fraternity is bad; U Celebrate new year on April fool.:-)"
I loved that tease, but I must have a kick-back, it's matter of all we Commerce students, isn't it.. I replied "Interesting.. but, what shall we do, Some fools celebrate it as their day." The next reply came in a minute, no need to tell it was another teaser. That chat went on teaing each other.  After that, I thought a bit about Science students. I Strongly feel that there is a significant diversity in the thoughts of Science & Commerce students. Some of the theories in Commerce are indigestible for a pure Scientific thinker. Also, from some views of my Science friends (though directly they didn't tell me), I felt that they strongly feel that Commerce gives more importance to money than that to the mankind. This is a post meant for clarifying the fact and just for telling them the importance of Commerce professionals.

First, Let me quote a phrase we used to hear from Venu Sir, Our Management Guru. "The man who discovered electricity was Great, but his greatness would have been worthless without the man who found 'electric meter' ". This theory may be a bit unpleasant for a Science student. But, please give me a chance to explain what I know. We all know that electricity is a very vital element for the present world. Obviously, it's the life blood of the Industrial world. It's a request from me not to take it in an emotional sense. Just think practically, think U are the One who discovered electricity, of course U know, it has a great potential for satisfying the needs of the Society. But, how will U provide that facility to the public at an affordable rate.? how will U meet at least the cost of its production.?? How will U be regaining the huge funds U took from banks for setting up the production unit.? How will U accommodate the employees  U took for salary.??

Yes, the discovery of 'electric meter' gives you the Solution all in a go..! It gives U confidence that there is a mean for profitably providing it to the mankind. Also, electric meter too is not the perfect Solution for U'r problem. There are brains of Commerce which stay always aware of Ideas which keeps U'r efforts efficient and working. It's not all about money. But, Money is a stimulant which keeps a business going, and a business is the art of providing Services to the mankind in the most effective & efficient manner. A businessman takes a small margin from the income as the reward for the efforts & risks he has undertaken himself in providing those Services to the mankind. It gives you the support as big MNCs who invest tremendous amounts and pays U too for U'r Skills & efforts. I will Never say Commerce is greater than Science. But for Sure, I can't tell its of lesser importance than Science. The thought I have always believed and lived with is that "Science is the vitality of mankind, whereas, Commerce is the necessity of the Society.!"

Hope you enjoyed this post too.. There are 2 other posts awaiting U in my mind. U can expect them Soon.. For now, Take Care..

Onam at Academy.. A Flashback..

Dear Readers, We had some Serious professional & Macro Level thoughts in the previous topics. And, now I'm bringing U back to my Sweet Micro world of CA Academy. Let's be modest here, little things are more Sweeter for human heart.. Here I come to the stuff, it was by the half of August 2010, that means it was in midst of the most tedious routine of classes at our Academy, I was sitting in Raman Sir's class beside Ajesh bhayya fighting with a terrible Costing Qn given by him. Though it burned my head, I loved such stuffs given by Raman Sir.

The guys (Achayan, Balamurli, Vignesh & Salman) sitting in front of us were having some naughty teases each other, as Raman Sir went out telling us to try the problem. May be because he felt the heat aroused from my head, Ajesh chettan was staring on me, Smiling. At that time, someone came at the door and a few guys went and spoke. As, I was in midst of the teaser, casually I didn't look there. "Yepie.. I got it.!", I told to Ajesh bhayya. He smiled. It was then, I noticed that It was Revathy chechi who came at the door with some new matter to discuss with Our batch. At once, she came inside the class and spoke aloud "Guys, U'r junior batch is planning to have a Onam Celebration here, they want U guys too to Rock the function. What do U think.??"

At first, there was a "No comments" reaction from the class, Me and Ajesh bhayya stared each other, it was emblematic that a Smile bloomed in both faces.. We jumped up and went in front of the class and declared Our full support for the concert. We got some odd supports through some smiles around the class. Then itself we fortified that the program would not get flop. Revu chechi too had a good breath hearing us.

She called us closer and told that the juniors are thinking of a athapookalam competition with us. We exclaimed 'Competition.??'. It was the most tedious time and there were only two days in front of us to get all things arranged, including the design and flowers. Moreover, we are meant to do all those after the class time. But, what about the juniors, they were having much free time, and they only had a half day class. We asked her if we could have a friendship game. But, Our juniors wanted us to compete with them, as they wanted to stamp there strength in the Academy. We told okay to them and looked helplessly to Revu Chechi. She mercilessly delegated us the duty to collect contributions from the class. (You know, no one wants to take risk by keeping other's money.) No need to tell that that duty came right in my hands. (being the class leader ha ha..)

And, we started the collection soon, here I thankfully remember Shijin bhayya for extending all the support for us thereafter. At first, I think my friends too thought the program would get flop, but later, they too joined us.
We began to think seriously what all items we would arrange. As, the junior batch announced it's a competition with us, it became a 'Do or Die' game for us. Deepu too joined us. We then moved to the Ladies side, probably, we would get better support here, we thought. Nimya, Parvathy, Sona, Neethu, Shammy chechi and all assured their participation. But, the front bencher girls were not at all ready to Co operate.

We thought, we should let them go. Didn't took it as a bad sign, we went ahead confidently. Me and Ajesh bhayya decided there should be something dazzling from Our side to excite the juniors. At the mean time, Vijay Balu, Arun Das & Shijin bhayya came up with a good design. We had some modifications all together. And, we delegated them the supply of flowers. And, slowly whole the class was with us. All did there jobs. Arun Das, Shijin, Deepu, Binu chettan, Tinu, Balu.. let me thank each of them now here for their support. Praseetha too was there with us (helped us a lot, forgot to say it before).

There was only one more day now for the program, as usual, we had our classes, afterwards, we all decided everything and began to arrange the class. did it and left back to home.
everything went fine and it was Our turn now (Me & Ajesh). As, I told before, we must have something to excite juniors. We planned it.

On the program day, we reached Academy early in the morning and began to decorate Our floor (Only Our floor). The juniors didn't expect this take. When they came at 11:00 am, they were stunt seeing this. "Yepie.. we did what we thought." Then we commenced and everything went on fine. We did an exciting pookalam. Along side, we enjoyed each moment we spent on that. Had some naughty fun teased on each other, had some naughty Snaps.. We did whatever we want.. Now, it was Our turn to invite Raman Sir and juniors officially to show Our pookkalam. He came and I anchored the program. Each time I spoke there, I could hear some naughty comments teasing me. It was fun. We started with a prayer by Praseetha, after which I had a short talk in front of the crowd and invited Raman Sir to talk a few words for us. He came and started with his unique style. Hearing the start, I feared if he was going to have a class on 'Process Costing'. But, he had a nice speech and unexpectedly sang a song with us there. What else, we wanted to Rock Onn.??
We simply did that.!
Here, I thank each of my friends who played actively, their roles in bringing the function alive..
Thanks a lot buddies..

I know, this one is my longest post since started.. I Loved that, So yes it is.. I'ud just add a funny thing too.. After the function, I came home and eagerly asked Revu Chechi, " Chechi, which One won the Competition, Our's or their's.??"

The reply was terrible, "Both were Superb daa..."
